Yeah, it really does. It'd make sense, too, with the info-page concerning souls as some necessary background for the upcoming chapter and Tuuri's infection, though I suppose it might go either way: either it's played brutally straight or it's sub/in/averted drastically. With the Bird's Path... well, it'd be nice if Tuuri didn't become a roaming spirit for the next sixty or so years. Either way, I'm stocking up on tissues.
