I like this development that Sigrun is at least trying to communicate with Lalli
I like it too. Even if they aren't really... compatible personalities, the possible mutual respect you mention (due to them both being relatively experienced in the field?) helps put them together, and I can see them interacting in a some kind of... functional, maybe even friendly way, eventually. (There's this one fic, You gotta talk with your hands, that had those two interacting, and after reading that... I want more of that kind of thing, so much.)
