Anyway, I like this development that Sigrun is at least trying to communicate with Lalli, even if it looks like she's just waiting for him to start speaking swedish/norwegian but doesn't have the patience to actually help him with it. I'm still at a bit of a loss at how those two would even interact, but I think there's some level of mutual respect even though they're such opposite personalities, and it would be nice to see more of that eventually.
...err I just tried to imagine how it would go if Sigrun tried to teach Norwegian to Lalli (and Reynir). Maybe it's for the better they just learn Swedish. :D

I like it too. Even if they aren't really... compatible personalities, the possible mutual respect you mention (due to them both being relatively experienced in the field?) helps put them together, and I can see them interacting in a some kind of... functional, maybe even friendly way, eventually.
(There's this one fic, You gotta talk with your hands, that had those two interacting, and after reading that... I want more of that kind of thing, so much.)

Oh. My. Gods. Just imagining how it would go-
...Yeahhh it's probably best for Lalli and Reynir to learn Swedish instead. But oh my gods.... :D
