I'm in hysterics, and my throat is so swollen shut I'm probably making the same sounds Sigrun is in the comic, except they're laughter in my case. :D
Oh god oh god, and it's not getting better with the EEEEEEM-iiil... mostly because Astrid Lindgren's Emil is called Michel in the German translation I grew up with (apparently there was another mischievous Emil in German kid lit at that point, to they changed it), so I can't help imagining Emil and Mikkel's positions in reverse, and that's not helping with the general hilarity of the page.
Ah, but I'm happy. :D Even if the situation is more serious now than it was before, but the expressions are gold, and at least they're back on their own turf. Though now their only way out might be the water after all. :P
