At least Sigrun can take Mikkel off the mutineer list now - he was totally prepared to dive into icy cold, troll-infested water for her!

Thank fuck Sigrun made it out of there before Mikkel went in. I love the excellent captaining skills of throwing a rock at him while still making her way up the stairs and unable to talk. Also lol that he was so caught up in thinking about her in peril down there that he didn't even notice her get out.

And dear dear Emil. HI GUYS I BROUGHT YOU A BUNCH OF TROLLS ON FIRE

I'm in hysterics, and my throat is so swollen shut I'm probably making the same sounds Sigrun is in the comic, except they're laughter in my case. :D

Oh god oh god, and it's not getting better with the EEEEEEM-iiil... mostly because Astrid Lindgren's Emil is called Michel in the German translation I grew up with (apparently there was another mischievous Emil in German kid lit at that point, to they changed it), so I can't help imagining Emil and Mikkel's positions in reverse, and that's not helping with the general hilarity of the page.

Ah, but I'm happy. :D Even if the situation is more serious now than it was before, but the expressions are gold, and at least they're back on their own turf. Though now their only way out might be the water after all. :P

This is one of my favorite cliffhangers so far. I feel like I should feel dread after seeing those flaming jelly blorps on sticks, but instead I'm laughing. So glad Sigrun is out of there and Mikkel did not dive in and introduced Danish sushi to the Silent World. But those jelly things and the whole situation right now, I keep thinking they're about to break into song,

I don't think you're ready for this jelly

Meanwhile, where is the cattank? How far did the rest get away? When I looked at the last panel again, at the bottom corner it looks like there's a tank-like shape among the trees, doesn't it?

It's probably one of those car-filled bridges we saw them pass earlier - it looks like a car because it is one, it's just not the one they need.

I'm not quite sure how fast that tank moves

Me neither! "A slow grandma on a bike" is... kinda not a reliable measurement, though if we assume said grandma to go at about half the average human biking speed (of Copenhagen, thank you for specifying that, Google - my recent searches are showing, I guess? XD) then it'd be roughly 7.5km/h, so even if it's only been five minutes since Sigrun told Tuuri to drive, they'd already be 600 meters away (roughly by the main station) and out of sight on a curvy road like that. And Tuuri has orders not to stop until she finds a camp spot. If she's faster, and/or this took longer than five minutes, she's obviously further away.

Poor Sigrun. I hope they do get her warm quick. D:

OH THANK GOD

Everything is a perfectly manageable disaster and now they can all go home and call it a day if nobody dies a stupid death
