Re: 499
The situation is so serious, but at the same time it's fucking hilarious. HUGE FUCKING GIANT. JELLYTROLLS ON FIRE. And Sigrun's just like "not this shit again".
I'm very glad Mikkel didn't end up in the water, though, that would have been terrible.
...Hold on, Sigrun threw a rock at him. HAH, that's what you get for considering such a stupid idea, mate! (Even if I love him for preparing to do that, suicidal though it would have been.)

And dear dear Emil. HI GUYS I BROUGHT YOU A BUNCH OF TROLLS ON FIRE
krrrk~
Re: 499
Re: 499
Oh god oh god, and it's not getting better with the EEEEEEM-iiil... mostly because Astrid Lindgren's Emil is called Michel in the German translation I grew up with (apparently there was another mischievous Emil in German kid lit at that point, to they changed it), so I can't help imagining Emil and Mikkel's positions in reverse, and that's not helping with the general hilarity of the page.
Ah, but I'm happy. :D Even if the situation is more serious now than it was before, but the expressions are gold, and at least they're back on their own turf. Though now their only way out might be the water after all. :P
Re: 499
I'm starting to think that Minna might have planned this, to give us a reprieve from all our worrying and angst. A bit of laughter instead!

My body is too blorpilious for you, babes!
Meanwhile, where is the cattank? How far did the rest get away? When I looked at the last panel again, at the bottom corner it looks like there's a tank-like shape among the trees, doesn't it?
Re: 499
I'm not quite sure how fast that tank moves, but hopefully it's close enough that these three can catch up once they get free of these creepies, because Sigrun is going to need to be someplace warm ASAP. It doesn't seem to me like that much time has passed since it left, so it's possible.
Re: 499
I'm not quite sure how fast that tank moves
Me neither! "A slow grandma on a bike" is... kinda not a reliable measurement, though if we assume said grandma to go at about half the average human biking speed (of Copenhagen, thank you for specifying that, Google - my recent searches are showing, I guess? XD) then it'd be roughly 7.5km/h, so even if it's only been five minutes since Sigrun told Tuuri to drive, they'd already be 600 meters away (roughly by the main station) and out of sight on a curvy road like that. And Tuuri has orders not to stop until she finds a camp spot. If she's faster, and/or this took longer than five minutes, she's obviously further away.
Poor Sigrun. I hope they do get her warm quick. D:

(Anonymous) 2016-03-27 02:21 am (UTC)(link)Everything is a perfectly manageable disaster and now they can all go home and call it a day if nobody dies a stupid death
Good work, team
