Author states that this chapter will be shorter than typical, so I expect it'll mostly focus on Emil and Lalli getting to solid ground, and finding somewhere... troll-free to recover.

I expect some introspective stuff from Emil on the subject of magic etc... maybe also his friendship with Lalli too. (While he tries to make sure that Lalli is okay, of course).

Oh my god this is the perfect setup for some [inter/]character development and daily pages can't come fast enough. I'm so excited. ;A;


I hope we get to see Emil's vulnerable and caring sides a little more clearly in this chapter, and I'd like it if they just...got onto the same page, more or less. Re: magic being real, and really wanting to be friends and be there for each other despite all this crazy, awful shit going on.

That said, I love how she's been rendering the dimensionality of their faces in profile lately. You get such a vivid feel for their shapes. I just wanna poke Reynir's bony cheekbones.
