(eta) Oh, and since we're trying to nominate everyone, Sisko should be added to the aRTD list. She's Paju's mother, only appears in ch04 and one of the extra comics, but heyyy at least she has a name. <3
And to address the aRTD question - No, I'm pretty sure Puppy-Fox's mother doesn't have a name, unfortunately. I don't think any of the foxes do. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Thank you for the noms, though! And I didn't know Paju's mother showed up, I still need to sort out my Paypal to throw some money in Minna's direction, but more named characters are good. Which reminds me, does Hannu's mom have a name? I seem to have left her out as well. (Time for another reread. >>)

The more I think about it, the more likely it is that I'll do this one, since I caught nom period and signups don't close until after I return from Sweden.
ALSO I just remembered that I have a sock. ^^ So, here are some more aRTD noms:

And yes, Hannu's mum is named. :D This page for reference. Her name is Ellu - and I guess we can probably assume that her surname would be Viitanen, even though it's not stated anywhere. (Though sometimes I'm not sure, after all Minna has gone with nontraditional naming before. And I have the same "I am not sure" situation with Sisko; her surname is probably Kinnunen but we don't actually KNOW. But anyway...)

I'd be excited to see you there, anyway. SSSS seems very exchange lite, which is surprising to me because there are so many active fans considering it's a fairly small fandom. But hey, maybe we'll be getting there.
I went with the surnames you suggested for Ellu and Sisko, at least that'll give people a clue which family they belong to. (Even if Minna went for non-traditional naming, wouldn't this still be probable? In case of the Hotakainen and Hollola families either the husband took the female surname (Saku), and even if the husband kept his own name (Eino), the child seems to take the mother's surname (Veeti) - though of course I don't know if the reverse of the woman keeping her maiden name and the child taking the father's surname is also possible, google didn't help with that).

Re: Kitty, I'd put her down as "Crew Cat" or something like that, myself (she doesn't seem to have a set ao3 tag at this moment). But you make a good point about whether animal characters are allowed - I'm pretty sure that intelligent/talking ones like the aRTD haltija characters are within the guidelines, but someone like the SSSS cat, not sure....

No-Arms' nomination sounds good to me - there are more women in the Dalsnes flashback, so it could be any of them, but she's got a bit of text so is slightly more prominent, and it's always possible to specify in signups.
If I end up treating, I'm going to write you a Katla thing. :3 (Oh, and apparently I have an Icelandic mage of my own in my head who is very insistent on some spotlight. She did meet an untimely end while Sigrun was still in her teens, but that's not stopping her, so Þórveig says hi and wants you to know that "Original Icelandic Mage" is a good nomination.)

I might end up doing that for either Lírien if the mod doesn't approve her or the other Rivendell ladies that fandom has named. I'm just glad they're allowing for OCs-in-canon to be nommed! Best exchange mod ever! :D
And, yay! \0/ Katla says hi to Þórveig! I wonder if I will end up treating everyone in my fandoms too like I did last year. :D (And I remember her! In the story sample you showed me! So Sigrun was in her teens? That would mean, if we combine our Sigruns' timelines, she meets Katla after Þórveig, as I imagine Sigrun was having a thing with an Icelandic mage twice her age while in her twenties, hee.)

Treating everyone would be so wonderful. Your fics last year were such a delight! ♥ But I know you also want to work on TGE, so please don't force yourself if your focus falls on your original writing!

She was - she was 16 in my timeline (and no relationship other than 'teammate' there; Þórveig was married), but honestly, I can see Sigrun having all sorts of relationships with all sorts of people. :D
