His expression is also hilarious. I wonder if he even realizes how this is all new to Reynir. Would't he learn this fact during the "couples weeks later" time frame, or does he get frustrated whenever Reynir's acting like an obvious novice (comparing this to how Lalli accepted and pocketed Reynir's drawn protection runes where he probably thought Reynir knew what he was doing.)
That does make sense. I did think there was something "optimistic" about the omen, so maybe that's a clue to the ending of the next chapter? :D
I'm very "???!" about the whole "it's only an omen" thing. I guess this kind of stuff... happens... often?
Yeah, omens usually mean "pay attention to this because this could get bad." Maybe Lalli was getting fed up with Reynir's reaction, and Reynir was just trying to soothe an obviously tired and distraught Finnish mage. :)
