Discussion does not have to be limited to the comic itself; if you just want to gush about how hot Sigrun is, or open up a thread for fanwork prompt requests, or discuss SSSS/aRTD in the context of multifandom fanwork exchanges, that's okay too!

I would be interested in it at any time. Even if there's something else running at the same time, I'll make room for it.

Would it be SSSS only, or aRTD as well? Maybe even SSSS+aRTD crossovers as a possibility would be cool.
And being able to nominate worldbuildy stuff sounds awesome, too.

What kind of wordcount minimum are you thinking of? I know that 1k is typical, but maybe something smaller would be good (500?).

Winter sounds good to me, but it could run up against some major events (NaNo, Yuletide...) as well as the ssssforum's own yearly christmas exchange. BUT if it was held in January/February, that wouldn't be a problem.

I'll consider making it SSSS and sRTD if others want! The prospect of crossovers would be neat, and if we go ahead with naming it Silent Night that'll be a nice merging of the two titles (dream=night.)

I think 500 words would be nice. Something a little low pressure that'll hopefully make people fret less and encourage to just create and have fun with it. :) And treats! (The art equivalent would be a good sketch on unlined paper.)

I didn't know the forum had its own yearly Christmas exchange! :) I couldn't find it in the forum itself, otherwise I would love to compare it with my idea (or see if I can collaborate with the mod there to see if they would be interested in getting this into an AO3 exchange.)

If we are aiming for a winter period: I'm leaning towards a January due date. :) Something after the major holiday rush but while there's still a bit of the winter feel to enjoy (or not enjoy, depending on how bad the snow gets in one's area!)

The thread for last year's secret santa is over here. It wasn't necessarily specifically for SSSS/aRTD stuff; a lot of people left requests for things that were unrelated to either fandom. :Va To me, the "feel" was more like Fandom Stocking, rather than a regular single-fandom gift exchange. Anyway, I'm not sure if there will be one this year. Hard to say.

Thanks for the link! :) Hmm, the mod of that exchange looks like they haven't been around since February, so I'll see and ask around. (I'm planning on starting up a discussion on the forum since AO3 exchanges will typically take some time just to plan them out in advance. And anyone who doesn't have an AO3 account will need to join the invite queue or get a code from someone.)
