The ending is kind of nerve-wracking, but I do like the way it looks. Like, visually.

I agree. The last panel looks very tranquil, which only makes it eerie after everything that happened beforehand. Good thing we don't have to wait as long to see what happens! :)

Another thing I just realized: the cover page is this Thursday, but there's no word on an info page, so it might be straight to the story (Chapters 2 and 4 didn't end on info pages too, when I went back to check.)

I'm kind of glad the break is short this time around. :)

I wonder what the ghosts gathering around half-melted creepy horse ghost mean... did it call them to rally up another attack or are they turning on it because it's half melted and clearly not the scariest thing around anymore?

... but at least the sun is rising so nothing more bad will happen right away. Small mercies and all that. And it's not like infection kills right away, they have some weeks. Several weeks + two different sets of gods to pray to + they can find the dead mystery pastor and have access to a third god. With three sets of gods on your side, surely you should be able to, uh, do something?

Those dogs look so sad. I looked at this on my phone this morning, at first it didn't upload properly and I was stuck at staring at them for a moment, then found myself thinking about them later.

I was hoping to see the others' actual reactions sooner than we're apparently going to see any of them, but the more I look at this page, the more I see it as a metaphor for the shock and grief that must be present in the tank. The mood, but also the scene, and the uncertainty of what just happened and where it is going to lead to. The ghosts gathered around the wounded one, and I actually still have no idea if it is currently dying or just barely recuperating.

It's a grim parallel but still.
