Onni is surprisingly good at carving/whittling stuff. That's how he kills time when he's being a nervous wreck over encroaching doom in his dreamspace at night. And probably during the day. And whenever.


Reynir, son of a shepherd, has picked up a fair amount of wool-processing related skills. He has probably been enlisted in the manufacturing process a freaking lot (pre-industrialization style production HEY-o) because it's sometimes easier and cheaper than finding help or outsourcing it to another business. So. He can shear, card, spin, weave and knit. He's better at the carding and spinning than the other ends of the process but he could probably Make A Thing if he mustered up the confidence to. Unsurprisingly, it's all very good meditation for his magic, not that he knows that.

That Reynir headcanon is 100% what I was going to say. Great minds think alike? :D It makes SO much sense though - both that he'd know what's what when it comes to wool, but also the meditation-magic stuff.
