This is from a long-abandoned fic idea, but I still love it:

It's not long before Lalli's eyes start to droop with exhaustion. He was dead tired on the best of days- the mission had all but flown by his eyes in a drowsy blur, with each death-defying manouver barely registering as a blip on his radar. And while he'd usually be active and bright-eyed (and probably very uncomfortable), these days he had surpassed feeling anything much more than the emotional equivalent of "fuck it".

Haha, thank you!! (And well done, you've found my favourite line)

It was honestly inspired by the bottom panels of page 465 (and maaaaybe that one sleeping beauty fanart thing) but I lost interest after the next update xD also because it ended up being unrealistically cheesy/hard to work with. But still. There's lots of other fics I'm working on that haven't gone on AO3 yet. B)
