AHH but holy shit, I am so glad that Tuuri decided mutiny was the best course of action. I don't even want to think of WHAT might have happened to those three if they'd been caught out in the cold and dark.

Now Sigrun can get some medical attention and get warm and hopefully get some sleep. (I want alllll the comfortfic now...)

YEAH. I WANT ALL THE COMFORTING. It looks like things are about to cut ot Ghosty McMurderface snacking on our floppy turtle seal thing friend before the chapter end and I will be so bummed if we miss all the comfort stuff. But yeah, guess that's what fic is for....

Oh my gods, I didn't notice Ghosty until you mentioned it. D: Yiiiikes.

It's possible that we'll get at least a little bit of comfort stuff. Maybe a page or two. I can't remember quite how many pages are supposed to be left of this, but I think there's probably room for that. Crossing my fingers for it, anyway.

And if not... fanfiction. Or art, perhaps (Like these doodles, buhyoo)

I was hoping for a little bit of comfort stuff too, but Minna's comment on the page is Only three more pages left of the chapter, but we'll still have to take a final look at our friendly neighbour ghost face here. Oh well. :P

Final as in we're never going to see it again, or just for this chapter...?

Hmmm, good question. I wonder if the final look at murderghost was what happened on that page and the rest will be devoted to comfort and patching up Sigrun, or if we get a split between both - murderghost eating the Watcher and growing humongous, and our crew being comfortable and oblivious... because as much as I'd love them to talk over what the everloving fuck happened that evening and maybe taking some steps, I don't think it's likely until they've all rested up. Sigrun was practically asleep on her feet there, and with all the information she has (even if she believes Reynir in hindsight she'll still hear that they've left the ghosts behind, if he's in a shape to convey that info) her health is the more immediate concern.

I do think ghostie there is going to stay persistent, though. There would be no sense in introducing it now if Minna meant to drop it. And if they're still headed to Odense, they may face more of its kind if the vaccine has any connection to it...

I thought the 'final look at the ghostface' was going to be a bit more than just the one panel, but we'll see soon. And yes, there're too many questions about the ghosts to drop it here!

What they should do before they head to Odense or anywhere would be to sit down and talk over what just happened, make sure everyone is present and awake, especially the mages (including Onni through the radio) and the translator, and the leaders... if someone must keep an eye on the trolls in the meantime it has to be Emil again, sorry Emil. But somehow a well-organised debriefing seems less likely than a new troll attack in the next three pages, and what would be the fun in it anyway. x)

Oh damn, I didn't see that - I should pay closer attention to authornotes.

It'll probably pop up again, if not next chapter, then eventually. Because I can't see this thread just hanging... '3'

THIS FANDOM IS TERRIBLE!!!!

What I've taken away from this chapter is that when Lalli is unconscious so that he and Emil can't OTP it up all over the place, it gets really noticeable how shippy Sigrun and Tuuri can be instead.

Haha! It is nice to see them interacting more, I'm starting to see where people are seeing it!

On reread it's really obvious, from Tuuri's side at least - their first meeting, Tuuri ran up to Sigrun, stared up at her adoringly and stuttered out "Y-you're SO TALL". AND we already knew Tuuri had a thing for tall people after she asked on the boat if Swedes were all tall and pretty lol turns out she got a tall Norwegian instead and her cousin got the not-tall pretty Swede, but hey XD There's just usually so much going on that it's impossible to pay attention to everything...

Mmm, this is true! I mean, I got the theory before, but seeing them do more on screen so to speak is helping give me a nice fleshed out picture of what it can be.

Though I admit, I like to think Tuuri is for the most part, generally into 1) pretty, and 2) new. To the end that she's soooooo excited to be surrounded by all these pretty people who are, by her reckoning, SO GLORIOUSLY ~*~*EXOTIC*~*~. And most importantly not from Keuruu. SO many choices, SO little room for delightful unprofessionalism to be had. Maybe. Sometime. Somehow. Or so she tells kitty while sulking face-down on the tank dashboard whenever she's on tanksitting duty. Kitty listens. Kitty understands.

That is definitely true too~ Tuuri's totally into new and exciting things, adventureeeeee! New places! Trolls! Rawr~ she's probably having a lot of fun, even if it's dangerous. Pff kitty just wants ear-scratches.
