Good news, everybody! Looks like next chapter has some of the things we were hoping for:

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter of the comic, it's a more relaxed and light one than the last three chapters have been. Tension, grimness and action is fine too but I personally love it when the gang just gets to do stuff together without possibly getting maimed any second. And Lalli will get to wake up at last! *

In the meantime... yikes! That looks pretty ominous. D: And yet again I feel bad for our poor seabeastie. ...Then again, maybe having its soul sucked out is better than dying slowly and painfully on land, I suppose.

Holy shit it can grow from absorbing other things. ;A; Our intrepid heroes are massively fucked.


Oh well. At least next chapter has some good things coming up, and seabeastie won't die a slow, horrible death.

At least they will have time to work out a counterstrategy now. I hope. If they make the connection with the vaccine and the possibility of encountering more ghosts at Odense, not necessarily the ones that are following.

Yikes, though, I'm inclined to agree with "massively fucked" and not in the fun smut fic way... Reynir better learn those runes quickly.

I'm so looking forward to seeing Lalli conscious again, finally! This news about the next chapter is absolutely going to help me get through the chapter break, knowing I'm anticipating something lovely and nice like this.

Poor dead beast looks more startled, uncertain, and maybe just beginning to protest, while its soul is on the way out; doesn't give the appearance of excruciating torment during the process; comforting thought?
