Okay, not gonna lie, I have a lot of thoughts on this.

- I'd like to think that after the end of the world, the biggest sociocultural baggage surrounding sexual activity is responsible procreation. It's okay to be sexually active and with whoever makes you happy, however makes you happy, as long as you're conscientious about the possibility of offspring in uncertain survival conditions -- and the genetics of immunity.

- Partners of any gender are fair game, with varying levels of interest across the board.

- So maybe it's pretty easy to access birth control. If you're in the army, it's all part of routine health care. Tuuri and Sigrun both have some kind of long-term thing (implant? hormonal? magic?), and maybe the world's worked out a male version? God, maybe everyone's on birth control unless otherwise noted. (Except maybe Reynir, who's been in the boonies with medical access lite and minimal choice of partners.) Poor Lalli, scratching at an arm implant 'cuz it weirds him out. Safety mittens for Lalli, too.

- Tuuri: Is really excitable and likes novelty and adventure. She's had a fair number of partners, but tends to get disappointed and bored easily. And fairly so, the Keuruu pool is the absolute worst.

- Lalli: I can never decide if I like him best completely uninterested/ace, okay to administer stuff to a partner to watch them squirm, or surprisingly demanding in bed. Dammit Lalli.

- Mikkel: I have no idea. I suspect 90% of people make him roll his eyes.

- Sigrun: Is so game for so much. Good God, that lady is fearless.

I am very, very fond of demanding!Lalli. May not have a ton of experience (or...any...at all) but he knows how he'd like to be feeling and he expects his partners to give it to him.

ADDITIONALLY:

I got the impression from the comic that certain materials are not easy to get due to, well, major manufacturing changing in a big way from the Apocalypse. I think I remember Minna's design notes included a changeover from rubber elements in the team uniforms to leather instead because it seemed like that would be easier to get. So I'd bet that commodities like lingerie and toys and such aren't too easy or cheap to get hold of. Maybe not prohibitively expensive, but not something you drop good grocery money on. Like, you can have your leather bustier or your fruit juice, but you can't have both, man.

Emil is gay and had a crush on every boy that was handsome and halfway nice to him until he met Lalli. Which, wait, yeah that falls under that category too.

Pls imagine rich boy Emil (and then former rich boy Emil) elaborately announcing his love with horse rides, a dozen red roses, chocolate,, etc. poor Swedish boys didn't know what was comin to them.

Oh, Emil. I could see this happen. :3 Although I also hope he figured out that this wouldn't be something Lalli would consider a treat, weird moose and all. :P

Hannu: ...Is in more than a bit of denial about the fact that he likes gals and guys. Not that he has issues with it per se; more like, he thought he had himself figured out in that regard, and it turns out he didn't, and he's kind of pissed off about that. He's also definitely in denial about most of his kinks. Won't admit to it. His partners need to drag it out of him, preferably through trial and error.

Joona and Jonna: My headcanon is almost the same for both. Bisexual, very forward, enjoy taking initiative, like it rough, like experimenting with kinky bullshit. Someone roughing them up right back = FUN. Both are very tactile, very touch-sensitive (in more ways than one). Jonna's more into kissing and bondage, Joona's more into breathplay and hair-pulling.

Riikka: Likes girls. A lot. Definitely. Yep. (Actually, I have difficulty imagining her interested in guys, though it might be because there aren't really any guys in the canon that I'm interested in shipping her with) She's the sort who's kind of shy in bed at first, but once she gets used to her partner, she enjoys taking the initiative a lot.

Paju: ...I actually have no idea. Someone should throw some Paju headcanons in my direction, 'cause I got nothin'.

Paju, maybe likes sensation/temperature play (not in a particularly d/s way or anything)? This is a dumb pre-coffee idea that floated across my mind but stuff like ice and wax...

I feel like in general she's up for trying new things, deliberately after talking over the idea. Blindfolds? Different positions, on different furniture? Outdoor sex (if anyone could make it not dirt and prickles in nasty places, it's probably Paju)? And she enjoys occasionally making people squirm or gasp and when for a tiny moment they openly adore her.

And now I'm just picturing Paju getting herself off outside avoiding the Gross Ouch by virtue of a thick accumulation of snow all over everything; the chilly practicalities of this alarm me but the aesthetics are awfully nice ok.

8) I like these ideas.

The idea of sexy stuff outside in the snow actually sounds really fun - it's something I could see her doing with Hannu, come to think of it (since he's apparently fallen asleep outside more than once, clearly bangin' in the snow is the next step??)
Though practically speaking, it'd probably involve fumbling through lots of layers of clothing, pfffff.

And yessss she would certainly be into making people squirm. Most definitely. 8)
