Okay, not gonna lie, I have a lot of thoughts on this.


- I'd like to think that after the end of the world, the biggest sociocultural baggage surrounding sexual activity is responsible procreation. It's okay to be sexually active and with whoever makes you happy, however makes you happy, as long as you're conscientious about the possibility of offspring in uncertain survival conditions -- and the genetics of immunity.


- Partners of any gender are fair game, with varying levels of interest across the board.


- So maybe it's pretty easy to access birth control. If you're in the army, it's all part of routine health care. Tuuri and Sigrun both have some kind of long-term thing (implant? hormonal? magic?), and maybe the world's worked out a male version? God, maybe everyone's on birth control unless otherwise noted. (Except maybe Reynir, who's been in the boonies with medical access lite and minimal choice of partners.) Poor Lalli, scratching at an arm implant 'cuz it weirds him out. Safety mittens for Lalli, too.

- Tuuri: Is really excitable and likes novelty and adventure. She's had a fair number of partners, but tends to get disappointed and bored easily. And fairly so, the Keuruu pool is the absolute worst.


- Lalli: I can never decide if I like him best completely uninterested/ace, okay to administer stuff to a partner to watch them squirm, or surprisingly demanding in bed. Dammit Lalli.


- Mikkel: I have no idea. I suspect 90% of people make him roll his eyes.


- Sigrun: Is so game for so much. Good God, that lady is fearless.

I am very, very fond of demanding!Lalli. May not have a ton of experience (or...any...at all) but he knows how he'd like to be feeling and he expects his partners to give it to him.

ADDITIONALLY:


I got the impression from the comic that certain materials are not easy to get due to, well, major manufacturing changing in a big way from the Apocalypse. I think I remember Minna's design notes included a changeover from rubber elements in the team uniforms to leather instead because it seemed like that would be easier to get. So I'd bet that commodities like lingerie and toys and such aren't too easy or cheap to get hold of. Maybe not prohibitively expensive, but not something you drop good grocery money on. Like, you can have your leather bustier or your fruit juice, but you can't have both, man.
