Eeee, good question, I'm curious about everyone :v

This question is so difficult for me! I noticed last week that there isn't any member of the SSSS main cast who I wouldn't defend from accusations of being the least attractive - logically there must be one but I can't slap the label on any of them. There's definitely more than one character who's reached the WOW HOT A WHAT level, especially counting fanart. I'm... susceptible. Easy.

But Sigrun is definitely one of my answers. And Emil. And /stops self from listing all six. Oh, and I have to mention a stand-out of the not-quite-main cast, Onni :D And Hannu; and Ville (is "WOW CUTE A WHAT" acceptable too as long as it's like... hotcute...)

Lots of things. Too many things. ...Actually, right now I'm having a hard time sitting still, so I've been not-working on lots of things too, but. Er.

Actively working on:
-Giftfic (further details redacted): Technically the draft is finished, but after I completed it my brain sat down and said "I don't want to". So I haven't typed it up for revising yet. >.o
-Exchange treat (further details redacted): I have a lot of plot and no porn yet. This needs to be fixed immediately.
-Ficlet cycle with all of main cast's first kisses: I've finished... one out of six. Writing stuff with OCs (like this one requires) is hard.

On pause:
-Hannu & Ville with ghosthunting: I've been sitting on this story since autumn, and every time I open it to revise it, I make a disgusted sound. I'm sick of this story!
-Sigrun/Emil breathplay - Started this for a challenge, but it doesn't work in only 100 words, damn it. Need to expand this thing.
-Joona/Hannu with choking/smothering and accidental stimulation: I can't decide if it should turn wrong, or if they should just... keep going.
-Ville/Hannu with fluff and food: I love this pairing but it's impossible for me to write, sob. Why.

ANYWAY, an excerpt from something not listed above - I wasn't going to post one, buuuut... Yes. This is from a näkki-Lalli AU drabble-cycle that I've been poking at off and on (and could add stuff to perpetually, honestly).

Inside his dream, the forest was damp and murky, the swamp ever-darker, the cold pools too black to see into.

There were footsteps on the planks. Footsteps that didn't belong there. He had never shaken his old habits.

Lalli sank down into the water and peered upward.

From above came the muffled sound of someone calling him. A shadow appeared. Darkness over the water as he leaned over, bent to look.

Lalli slipped under the shelter of the boards. Didn't answer. Didn't look up at him. Only tightened his hands to fists and fought the urge to pull him under.

Is "anything and everything" an appropriate answer? Hm....

-SSSS-wise, I'd love to see more stuff about the prologue characters, because I'm a doofus who got attached to them. Mainly worldbuild-y stuff about how the world fell apart and what these communities did to keep things together. ...But also Signe/Michael get-together fic. Because. Well.

And then with the main cast... I never get tired of Sigrun & Emil interaction, so I think more of that, in both gen and pairing context. I dunno man, I just want stuff that develops their mentor/protege relations and then maybe also there is some UST or something.

-aRTD-wise... literally anything. I will shower with love anyone who writes this canon. Especially if it had a plot. With magic involved in some way. Ship-wise... I like Ville/Hannu but somehow writing it escapes me, so I'd love to read that. Or Jonna/Riikka, because it's just cute, okay.

Though I also wouldn't mind reading different interpretations of the Shed Incident.

Also, alllll the shippy fanart, I don't even care which pairing.

Because I have very few ssss/artd headcanons, and one of the ones that I do have is related to smoochin':

Lalli hates kissing with tongue. Hates, hates, hates it. His thoughts on the matter can basically be summed up as "COULD YOU NOT". Basically he thinks it's one of the grossest things ever.

No thoughts on the others, mind you.

I backed the kickstarter, so I already have mine. But I might buy one for one of my friends... we'll see.

The one that I used as a prize for a tumblr giveaway still hasn't arrived at the recipient and I'm getting so antsy about it. Never mail surface when it's going off-continent, guys. orz

What I really would love would be an aRTD reprint. I'm so upset that I missed when the last few copies were released (I slept through it! I feel so awful about it, still). But Minna has said that there won't be a reprint this year. And I'm not holding my breath for it happening next year, either.

OH and speaking of SSSS Book 1 - it's eligible for this year's Hugos, because it was released in 2015, so if any of you applied for membership early enough to nominate works, I suggest adding it to your list. If enough people do, it'll get on the ballot, and that would be awesome. (I still haven't put mine in... going to have to do that today, argh.)

I really like this page! :D And the fact that it looks like a family vacation photo in the second panel!

I'm not sure what we can do for this page, but for page 1,000, maybe starting around page 900 we can start plotting and doing something by then (like a scrapbook thing to send to Minna as one huge thank you from her fans? With letters, fanarts, photos, etc? Heck, I'll even make her a plush doll! :D Although I don't know which character is her favorite...or I'll make the whole team, just for her. But they'll be Kimbi-sized, not large sized.)

Yessss, it's so weirdly cute!

The more I look at it, the more it looks like it must have originally been some kind of sea-mammal. I mean, it's too big to be a seal, but... it sure looks like a seal. (That face!) Not to mention the "we'll kill it the easy way" part. Hmm.

I love how Mikkel is pulling Emil along by his coat in the top panel. No time for dawdling, kid.

... and is that beast bleeding? Poor thing... I mean, it's a horrible scary mutated death monster, but it's kind of pitiful.

AHH but holy shit, I am so glad that Tuuri decided mutiny was the best course of action. I don't even want to think of WHAT might have happened to those three if they'd been caught out in the cold and dark.

Good news, everybody! Looks like next chapter has some of the things we were hoping for:

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter of the comic, it's a more relaxed and light one than the last three chapters have been. Tension, grimness and action is fine too but I personally love it when the gang just gets to do stuff together without possibly getting maimed any second. And Lalli will get to wake up at last! *

In the meantime... yikes! That looks pretty ominous. D: And yet again I feel bad for our poor seabeastie. ...Then again, maybe having its soul sucked out is better than dying slowly and painfully on land, I suppose.

Write all the fic! :D Double points if it's in response to stuff from the chapter. (Warming-up-Sigrun h/c? Yes.)

And create sundry other fanworks too. (I have so many photoset ideas)

Aaaand talking a lot with other fans, of course. Gushing and plotting and speculating, oh my.

Not to mention re-reads! ...After that wild chapter we had, I think I might need to do that just to remember all the details of what went down, because holy crap.

But for me, it's mostly: write all the fic. So much fic. And reading it too, of course.
